Ethos

An ethos of ‘internationalism’ will pervade the Federation and both Academies, emphasising the partnership between staff, students and parents, set within an international context, where students are prepared for their future as global citizens. Supporting the international ethos will be a dynamic and responsive curriculum.

The curricula in each Academy will be different but complementary; it will be modelled against the International Baccalaureate Middle Years (11-16) Programme. All students will be offered the core National Curriculum, although both Academies will take full advantage of the curriculum flexibility and freedom to provide students with a personalised learning experience, within an international context. All students will also experience a range of different learning styles which will meet the needs of individual students and are appropriate to the courses they are studying.
